1. All tournaments, games and training sessions are now being organised using www.teamer.net This is an online team management system created and designed to minimize the effort involved (for both players and managers) in organizing team events. Founded by a unique mix of internet professionals with extensive experience of team captaincy at both the competitive and social level, Teamer uses the web to significantly decrease the amount of time it takes to get your team on the field.
2. With Teamer, the General Manager picks the players we want to select for each game or tournament, specify whether they should receive text and/or email notification and send the game notice. As replies are received about who is and who is not available, our teamPage updates with up to the minute response information letting us know where we stand for the upcoming game.
3. The General Manager can select replacements that will be automatically notified about the game if one of our team is unavailable. There will be a list of standby players for each game or tournament and as soon as possible after a players says they are not available, someone else from the standby list will be selected. The person of standby will be chosen in the order in which they appear on the list. This means that if you are top of the list, you will be chosen first if a player is not available.
4. It is important for players to reply to confirm their availability or to update their availability if this changes as soon as possible to give plenty of time to choose other players from the 'standby' list. This allows others a chance to play in our games and tournaments. With this in mind, players must confirm their availability a minimum of 7 days before a game or tournament is due to take place or they may be moved to the standby list and another player may be chosen from the standby list as their replacement.
5. If you state that you are available but then you subsequently become unable to attend for any reason, you are required to change your status and/or notify the General Manager as soon as reasonably practicable and at least 48 hours before our meeting time for a game or a tournament. Failure to do so, may lead to disciplinary action including suspension and/or termination of membership.
6. If you are on the standby list and your availability changes at any time, please notify this using teamer.net and/or email the General Manager as soon as possible or at least 48 hours before we are due to meet for a game or a tournament.
7. With regards to training sessions, every member will normally receive an email or a text notification. Please reply to confirm your availability as soon as possible. Numbers for a training session may be limited due to available resources and for health and safety reasons. In the event that it is necessary to restrict numbers, this will be done according to who replied first to confirm their availability and there may be a cut -off point. For example it may only be possible to accommodate the first 20 players who confirmed. If it is necessary to restrict numbers and you have not confirmed your availability, you will not be able to take part in the training session. To guarantee your place at training, please confirm whether you can make it as soon as possible.
8. If you are running late for a training session, match or tournament you are required to call or text the General Manager or the match organiser in his absence. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action and/or may affect your ability to take part in a game, training session or tournament. Running late can let the team down, so where there is no valid reason for this, disciplinary action may follow and this may affect your ability to take part in a game, training or tournament.
9. If you experience any technical difficulties using teamer.net please email help@teamer.net for assistance. Please also email the General Manager immediately in order to request assistance, if necessary.
10. How much does it all cost? For players, using the website and email notification system is always free. If you respond to notifications via text message you will pay no more than your standard rate charged by the phone company, so it's the same as texting a friend, Teamer adds no additional charge. For a team organiser it's always free. Setting up a team page, notifying players over text message and email, managing your season, won't cost our team budget a thing.
11. Players highlighted in blue have come to Teamer and activated their profile, they are registered members instead of just invited members. Everyone receives notifications regardless and some members choose to never come to the site and only communicate through their phone, but of course they are limiting the functionality of the site when they do that. Once members activate their accounts, they are responsible for the content of their account and the contact details used.
12. You are responsible for your own Teamer.net account. You are responsible for any changes, modifications, additions, deletions and omissions from the website. By using the website, you agree to their Terms and Conditions. Any misuse of the website, may lead to disciplinary action. If you would like your teamer account to be terminated at any time, please see details on the website and contact the General Manager.
13. Teamer is an excellent tool that we can use to arrange games, tournaments and training sessions. It can also be used to arrange socials, post comments about issues that matter to us as a team, to share tactics in relation to games and tournaments, to discuss previous games or tournaments, to upload documents, to register attendance, to select "man of the match", to express ideas about training sessions and to post photos.
